Delìrium Còrdia = great. there is so much happening in
this one-hour-long (roughly...) track of music, it almost
feels like it's two albums-long. =)

comes in a pretty packaging too.

haven't heard the rest... yet.

r40f > Melt-Banana rocks too... at least the album i have
(Cell-Scape)! sounds very unique.

i got cell scape by melt banana its fukin mental it sounds
like happy hardcore played by a metal band. and yes fontomas
are awsome never really dug the melvins but ive not heard
much but i do have the fantomas melvins big band on cd
yay patton

cellscape is a great record. i love it. but it's quite a
departure from the usual melt banana material. if you dig
this album, check out Charlie, which is my favorite record
with the former mb sound.

Sucks we have to wait to till begining of next year for the
new album. :( The new songs they have played are dank.

worth the wait, though...

I saw a Fantomas / MxBx / End show too. In Chicago. I
dunno if we've discussed this already.

Anyway, I thought all three acts were very good in very
different ways. I liked Melt-Banana the most, though. They
had so much energy and weird noise and I'm convinced that
every heterosexual male in the audience (most of the
audience fit into this category) fell in love with either
the bassist, the singer, or both.

I like Fantomas' older stuff better live, but I think
Delerium Cordia is very interesting on record. Just a bit
boring live.

Also, does anyone here like or even know End very much? I
think he made a damned good record in "The Sounds Of
Disaster" but it doesn't seem to be getting much attention.

i was listening to delirium cordia (for the first time
properly) today, and i absolutely love it.

fantomas are definitely my favourite band at the moment, and
there's a very strong competiotion they're in.

that song is long, but the length doesn't bother me. i
think it could have been a better track, though. i think
it's the only track that isn't as good as the others. it's
just that guitar riff sounds so out of place to me. but
it'll probably grow on me.

yeah, far and away it sounds like a straight-up melvins
record, but you don't hear the sound of adam jones' guitar
on any of the songs? in the title track, for instance, that
riff i'm talking about, sounds just like it's off a tool
record to me. i could be wrong...

i don't like the cover, but i'd like to hear the music as
well : )

(i love Delírium Córdia - not a fan of the self-titled
album though...)

in that case, you may be disappointed, because the last i
heard, this album is going to be more of a return to the
style of their s/t lp.
