Metallica was the first gig I went to, Oct 1988 and the main reason I started playing guitar.........and to me Metal does not get any better than Metallica's first four albums... no metal band could touch them in the 80's, but I never really liked anything after and including the black album......still respect though.... they always done things their own way |

I'm well over Metallica now, but my faves used to be: Battery Orion Blackened One Harvester Of Sorrow Dyers Eve Nothing Else Matters And I thought that 'No Leaf Clover' was pretty cool... and I listen to that one off Mission Impossible 2 now and again, the one that has "Yeah" in the lyrics like 5000000 times |

nah, they didn't sell out... they just changed their style... the newer stuff is pretty poppy, but The Black Album stuff, yes it's shorter, but how can you say that by writting a song like Nothing Else Matters, a very personal song, they sold out? |
