Does anyone else agree that having a sub woofer say...in
your home, car or with your computer makes listening to
Richard's music better...I just think that some of those
hits and beats are sooo low its almost a differnent emoption
it brings out of you when you can feel it in your chest.

Just me?

AFX + SUB-BASS = Heaven...

Whole different texture & enviroment...

I've only got a shitty Yamaha one on my computer but hell,
it's good...

It's great, I made some music and couldn't hear the baseline
as I'd turned off the sub-woofer. As soon as I turned it on
I got that great humming-vibration feeling.

Playing vib ribbon on a sound system with a sub would be so
much easier!

I agree with all of you....Nothing like digeridoo with the
sub kicked up

i listened to blue calx on my computer with a subwoofer
recently..it was cool because it has these intermittent bass
rumbles that i hadnt really noticed before..

(not to brag... but OH WHAT THE FUCK... i don't care what
all y'all think :) J/K... anywho... yeah, I have a dual
band-pass box by Pioneer: 400 watt powered amp sitting right
behind my computer monitor and it rattles the fuck out of
the screen, but when I pop in the Mr. Aphex, I am in heaven
because feeling the music is the only way to go. IT IS
making me deaf, but I really don't give a flying fuck
because the music I create is drum-filled and it just... (i
could ramble on and on and on) I'll spare you though :)...
YEAH, APhex Twin music is best heard through a nice system
w/subs :)

...plainly put...Aphex is best heard on a perfectly
built/balanced sound system...or maybe its best heard on the
system he creates it with ;)
i wonder what system that is...

I've noticed that listening to AT with headphones can fuck
up your head a bit sometimes.... that hard-panned stereo
shit that sounds amazing through speakers can be too much to
comprehend through 'phones for me.... indeed, a
well-balanced system is the way to go, 'cause there's som
tits low-end in there for sure

try listening to "bucephalus bouncing ball" with headphones
on level 10 volume. mindfuck.
