Hi, unless you are on a Mac get Cubase because Logic isn't
worth the hassle on a PC.

I think so. I had it at one time, it looked very good, but I
don't have any midi devices to input.

import the sounds from an external source, sampler etc. or
use the vst plugs.

What's a controller keyboard? Is that any different than a
keyboard?

I'm switching to Cubase. If that doesn't work...I give up.
I don't like Reason and Fruity Loops. They seem to cheesey
and unproffesional.

Get cubase and some VSTs... Kontakt (sampler) and Lounge
Lizard (electric piano) will start you off. F11 in cubase
adds vsts then just add a midi track for each one, F3 brings
up the mixer to add effects and stuff. That's all you need
to know to start

Isn't SL some kind of shit version of SX?

Yeah, I think it's the light version so don't bother getting
SL unless your cash strapped. I reckon Logic does have a
much more interactive interface although a much steeper
learning curve too. Try the manual.
