I know it seems like an off-the-wall question, but does anyone here know how to say "Don't bother trying to pickpocket me, I have no money anyway. Fuck off/go away!" in Romani? The reason that I ask is because I recently had three encounters with groups of Roma women who tried to pickpocket us on the streets of St. Petersburg during our vacation there. Yelling at them in Russian seemed to work -- they didn't get anything -- but saying something in Romani seems like it would be more impressive/effective. Thanks in advance. |
