weed-smokers are even worse.

the worst thing about smoke is.. I don't know the english
word, but maybe "second-hand smoke" (you know, when you are
in a room with lots of smokers and you breathe the
smoke..?)

if smokers want to die, it's their own choice, but fuck if I
want to get that shit into my system!

Non smoking is unhealthy because I'm gonna come to your
houses and distribute my own version of johny cage's split
nut punch to your family.

Having smoked at least 1 in your life reduces the chances to
suffer from parkinson's disease by half. That's why smoking
rules and you suck.

well.. eating blueberries reduces the chances (of both
parkinson AND senile dementia) by 3/4s so, that isn't any
argument... blueberries don't increase your chances of
cancer while doing it.

Smoking isn't even a pleasure. The first time you do it it's
terrible. You just condition yourself to like it because
you're an idiot.

you are so wrong about smoking not being a pleasure. if you
don't smoke in excess, and have one every so often at the
right moment in the right situation, its quite enjoyable. a
subtle buzz. the cherry on top so to speak. however most
people smoke far too much as they have no self control or
will power, myself included, and then you get sick of it and
its oh so very hard to quit.arrrgh

listen to ziggomatic...

i was talking with some dudes at the radio station about how
a lot of non-smoking jazz players die of lung cancer (steve
lacy being the latest) because they breath so heavily in
smokey clubs all their life... i don't think there's much
sense in arguing that second hand smoke isn't an issue...
that said i'm not all that keen on banning smoking all over
the place... if people want to do it, it doesn't really
bother me very much... we all pick our poisons... people may
say that it's unfair that they have to be subjected to it by
other people, but by that token i could say that there are a
lot of things prevalent in society that i did not choose
that are not healthy for me...

i do think xammax may be on to something though... did
anyone actually enjoy their very first cigarette? i've never
actually had a full cigarette before, but in my experience
with cigar smoking, at first it just made me feel really
woozy... maybe i'm wrong though, who knows...

I've never actually smoked, just something I heard someone
mention about those first drags being terrible, then the
nicotine gets you addicted and then you become a slave to
them. Heh, again I'm generalizing a little, if you just
enjoy the occasional cig that's all well and good but surely
50-a-day is a bad habit you should seek help for.

I actually find the first hit being the best. I am trying to
quit though as i was doing around a pack a day due to my
excessive drinking. Hmmmm

my first smoke was quite enjoyable, but i only smoke around
five times a week anyway, so its not really something i'd
call a serious health risk. i do understand peoples concerns
over second hand smoke, i actually always got pissed at
people about that prior to beginning smoking.
its really all in where you smoke, how you smoke, and how
much you smoke. it can be a nice way to relax or a dangerous
habit. or both.

The first few packs are divine. So many fun headrushes. It
was like a game for me.
