sorting my mp3's and I'm wondering what you would classify
something like amon tobin or wagon christ or coldcut as?

the more you can think of, and the less obvious the name the
better, I'd like to seperate it from my breakbeat stuffs and
my misc electro, and straight out IDM, so I need another
genre name to name the folder I'm going to be whacking them
in to

go nuts, any type of strange name for or around that genre
would be helpful, I'll probably go with what I like the
most,

GO!

am i not being listened to at all? :(

thats an 'existing' genre you know.

call it 'big melting pot of fused funky beats' then

yes I heard you, I'm just looking for a particularly
aesthetic sounding name of a genre that happens to fit, not
an easy task when you've just woken up, like I have.. :)

it's hard to classify ninja tune's genre. i put my
/ninjatune folder into my parent-folder /IDM

it's a combination of jazz, hip hop, electronic, chillout,
drum&bass. it's really hard to put a one certain label to
it.

it's ninja tune style so just call it NINJATUNE

AlbertoBalsalm: heh, that's half my problem, :D well I got a
whole heap of stuff like that and not all of it is from the
ninjatune label, if you just keep palstering me with names
I'm sure I'll find something I like

J198: aren't you overreacting just a bit eh?

name exists, maybe "something" breakbeats, hmmm

funk breakbeat,
jazz breakbeat,

I can't find a name I like,
