I just wanted to throw this thought out there for everyone....I have been listening to The Cure since 84...I consider them my Fav. Band of all time....
The older stuff is better than the newer....But I just wanted to find out everyone else's view....
Disintegration is the best album of all time in my opinion....

I actually did not enjoy anything as much after they did WISH....But the Live "Paris" album is eceptional....
Many many old tracks done very well and some even slower than the original

The Cure!!!
Best album Faith / Head on the Door
Once upon a time there was a young man called... who was into The Cure.
Years ago when I lived in my home town in Ireland myself & my friends were into The Cure. Local Irish vesion of violent inbred rednecks used to slag / sometimes attack us "Cureheads", though by their definition anyone wearing black was a target. One once swung a meathook at my friends head & another friend was throw into a flooded river (survived by getting caught on a weir).
Anyway haven't listened to them in years

Anyone know of a place where I can find the "why cant I be you" remix?
The audio cassette edition contains a version of "Why can't I be you" remixed well, but it is nowhere to be found in MP3 format or on cd.

wow.
i mentioned skinny puppy and how i liked them and i got bashed for listening to 'eighties hair bands'. and that i should get with the times and listen to rephlex stuff. (which was insulting because i own half the friggin catalogue)
but apperently the cure is more acceptable. i still dont like em much. listened to a couple of thier albums but they just didnt 'grab' me. oh well.

My favorite band although the new acoustic hits are not as good as they could have been.
