lots of OT topics on this board lately, so hell, why not:
anybody know why cats fart? anything that causes them to fart more than normal? my two cats seem to fart a bloody lot, just locked them out my office as a result, bloody hell!

My oldest cat Beth doesn't quite get that it's her that's farted.
If it's loud she'll turn around, look at you in disgust and leaves the room =oD

..well.. we're not really talking rocketscience here.. it may just be because of what you feed them..
try changing brands - that can be enough. although the furry little fuckers will probably refuse any other brand, ofcourse.
I think too much dry food can do it too.

My cat farts every so often. Although I don't think he realises it, this is like the elderly. If he did realise it I imagine he would blush with embaressment.

Mine fart depending upon which brand of cat food I buy. One of them, if I hold him tight on purpose, to stop him wriggling away, will fart as a defense mechanism!! :D
