who likes them here? : )

i bought their latest album saturday, Kila Kila Kila; more
than Feather Float (i'd recommend both albums, maybe a
little more Feather Float), it is at the same time
easy/rhythmic, sunny, and just a bit difficult/strange
(half-easy to get into)... the music is really "travelling"
more than dancing or thinking... the reviews were a little
mixed but i definitely don't regret picking it, i must have
listened to it two or three times in a row the first time -
very good music for summer!

if you don't know them it's an all-female japanese band, led
by Yoshimi P-We (of Boredoms, Free Kitten, UFO or Die, and
also Flaming Lips in some way...) - there is a mp3 available
here, from their first album - but it's pretty
different from the other ones i know, more "noisy" and short
whereas on Feather Float and Kila Kila the songs can be
pretty long and sweet...



(by the way i wonder if there is a new
Boredoms/V∞redoms release in the works? that would be
nice... well, i have Chocolate Synthesizer and Super æ, i
could pick up another one too... is there an "intermediate"
or especially different album from those two?)

kila kila kila is great!

'on mani' is my favorite song from that album. still haven't
heard Feather Float, but i'll look into it!

i've been meaning to check them out. this track is fucking
awesome!

as for boredoms, you probably should check out Vision
Creation Newsun. it's very good
