I was SO disapointed when the Neverending Story ended... I really thought it was infinite, but it was only a couple hours. :-( Home Alone 1 is awesome! I used to want that to happen to me, so I could kick some burglar arse! |

I still remember watching that for the first time, and a weird cartoon version of The Hobbit way back when I was younger at my Aunts house... you know, if you took out the singing, and the cheap synthetic sitar in this song, and stuck some cool Autechre, or Aphex Twin style beats, you'd have a sweet ass song... it's already cool, but only for nostalgia reasons... |

yeah, The Karate Kid was good, and The Land Before Time, my god I watched that so much... my mother used to teach grade 2 in school, and she always taught a section on dinosaurs, and every year without fail she rented that movie to show, and every year without fail I watched it like half a dozen times... :) |

The Neverending Story was good, but I didn't really like the sequals! Which is sadly the case with many films these days. ET was another classic! I don't think I ever saw Transformers the Movie, but saw plenty of the normal cartoon series! Decepticon Starscream was better than Megatron!! : ) |

My favorite kid's movie from the 80's is now Return to OZ. It scared the hell out of me when I was a kid though. My next fav's are the Neverending Story, Willow, and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. all of which I recently bought on DVD. |
