Quite simple.
where do you prefer to watch films?
[]Cinema []@ home alone []@ home with friends []@ home with boyf/girlf
I personally like the cinema. It's a bit annoying when there's noisy twats in there but worth it for the big screen, buckets of popcorn and good sound =o)

By noisy twats I mean people who can't possibly go to the cinma often
When we went to see lost in translation there was this teen girl that looked like kappa had thrown up on her actually having a concersation on her mobile !

Cinema is easily the best place to watch a film. However if i was rich i'd have my own cinema set-up at home.

[ x ] Cinema [ x ] Home with gf
Going to the cinema alone doesn't bother me... most of my friends don't like the same films as me, and my gf works so much i don't often get time to go with her. I find i can often "get" complex films more on my own.

I prefer to watch them alone, while laying in bed watching the television. I've never been able to enjoy going to the movies. I hate how crowded it is, I hate the sticky floor, I hate paying for food that is doing me great harm, and I hate PDA.

[ ]Cinema [x]@ home alone [ ]@ home with friends [ ]@ home with boyf/girlf
I love the cinema experience as in: huge screen, great sound (well, if you're lucky), but the other people around more than not make it completely unbearable.
I'm a bit of a nazi when watching films, wanting TOTAL silence. I absolutely HATE people talking during a film and I especially HATE cinemas for selling food in noisy packaging - it can truely spoil my experience.
that said, films like Star Wars and the LOTR films can only really be seen in the cinema - those films need huge screens, great ultra-loud sound and, yes - an audience! it's great to be part of an audience and feel the whole room reel at stuff they're seeing (Yoda's fight in "attack of the clones" for example). :)
