some music talking

I am bored... but I need to talk about music... I am
listening to ep7 right now (you should try this tolstoyed)
and its ... I odnt know I feel nostalgic and I think the
music helps in this case...

talking about autechre... arent there news about a new ep or
something?

what I would really love is something from mr d.james... or
even boc... plaid, uziq and pusher already did their
homework this year... and I must say I am happy with all of
them... maybe spokes was a little weak at first but it
grows... and dial-p was really nice so ...
this year I ve discovered people such a sdevine, lfo,
vibert, bola... man I feel there is too much music for me to
know it all... and a lot of great music that I dont even
imagine.... it makes me happy
I wont talk about snares... its been overdiscused already.

I think I have to give a try to jega, brothomstates... and
some other names I ve been reading in the competition.

from time to time I still listen to pulp and some 60s bands

I dont know... I felt like talking

if you're going to try out jega, definitly check out
geometry, his most experimental works methinks and lots of
fun

I've been listening to lots of Sea and Cake and Sam Prekop's
solo album - it's so lazy and human and chilled sounding, a
great antidote to overdisciplined stiff IDM (which I still
like but not all the time, you know?)

Pole is very deep and dubby. His mp3 Strand is available
here

sometimes I feel gulity cos I tend to buy everything from
one artist instead of trying diferent artists.

I have 27 cds by aphex but surely I would know aphex in the
same way If I had only 8 of his releases and I could still
have 19 cds for other artists... this happens to me all the
time, the same I did with autechre, plaid, boc, orbital,
squarepusher, snares, uziq....

I have like 100 cds of those few artists in total....
imagine how many artists would I know if I wasnt so anal
about getting everyting by the same artist

Boomkat. Nice way to hear something new.

The song "Geometry" on that album is also bloody incredible
- it has that chills-up-your spine quality you get from
certain Bola tracks.

Music I can't get enough of at the moment:

- Fennesz
- The Books
- Icarus
- Stereolab

These all demand your attention nacmat. If you like
autechre, fennesz has a similar texture, more ambient
though. The Books are very hard to categorize, i guess that
horrible term "folktronica" is the closest i can manage.
Fantastic though. Icarus are bleak, cold, experimental drill
/ ambient, and stereolab are avant-pop genius. You'll like
them if you like broadcast (and i know pulp fans like
yourself may appreciate them too.)

I'd like to hear new ae / rdj stuff too, but there's a lot
more than just the "IDM superstars" out there. Discovering
new stuff is hella satisfying.

you know about this release (probably you do heh)...i just
got it, but i haven't listened to it yet...

Back in stock. Official CD straight from Dose One’s vault
of recent live work from the mighty Them(selves). In the
live context the duo of Dose One and Jel is expanded by
musician Dax Pierson. Thirty five minutes straight from the
mixing board from gigs in such places as Munich, Milan and
Paris. Also in full is their Peel Session from earlier this
year plus maybe an exclusive cut or two. Themselves live is
a whole new ball game - madly additive and craaazy outdope.
Buy now before we cannot get anymore.

There's too much music and not enough life to hear it all.
I've got albums up the wazoo waiting to be listened to...
but too many other things are delaying it.

Recurision is definitely my favorite Jega track.
