Use words to describe perfect song/tune you would love to hear. Describe the beat, melodies, BPM or anything that you would love that tune to have.

You can also use associations such as:"I would love the tune to sound like an alien ship" (or something like that).

I am thinking about my description... It is challenging...
I won't be home the whole day... so it will take a few hours.
I am thinking something like steinbolt that makes sense, that has vocals and some alien-like reggaish dub to it. Maybe at a faster tempo so it sounds more punk. (nothing silly like ziggy sputnik hahaha).

synth washes ambient/hip hop beats, plenty of ennui, with glitch beats and a few vocal samples

you can honestly say that you can make music exactly how you hear it in your head?........ I would pay large amounts of cash for that talent........ I hope to aquire it in the future but I have my doubts about ever being able to convert these tracks that constantly circulate in my mind into sound, this frustrates the shit out of me & I also worry whether one day they will no longer be in my head & I will have missed my chance to shine, only time will tell.
There seem to be those who can visualize great music, those who can bring music into existance & those who can do both (the third group consists of alot of the artists in your cd collection, although there are also those who have teamed up to combine one or more from the first & second types to create the third type...... if that makes any sense). I belong in the first group, altho I am working hard to gain all the skills I need to make my music a reality..... sometimes I think it would be better to team up with a like minded producer... any offers?

not exactly like i have it in mind.. but hmmz, if i think of a melody.. an idea of how to combine different type of sounds and so on, i can usually get very close to the thing i had in mind, i never get the exact same thing as i think about becouse it's easyer for me to go creative when im "doing" music then it is for me when im thinking about it.
but i usually never think "notes notes notes" it's more like.. an idea of what type of melody i like, for example if i feel like making a cute organ melody, i think of the speed and kinda of the whole "harmony" of it then i go from there, i usually end up with something i like and that is similar to the thoughts i had in the begining, but the thoughts u have about the music before making it is kinda pointless, it's the resaults and the procces that mathers right =D

hmmm..... I was refering to whole compositions, where as you are talking about individual parts of a track...... it's easy to write indavidual parts of a track but not so easy to get an entire track down before you forget how it went.... it seems like, the more you concentrate on it the faster it disappears from your mind. These tracks that my brain likes to create & tease me with are (to my conscious self) mindblowing & come in any form, from classical piano pieces to mind bendingly complex drill tracks through to full orchestral peices.
It sounds like I'm on my own here....... doesn't anyone else get these amazing musical visions?
