anybody played that game ? got it ? please help me...

i have a strange version of guilty gear x, because in it
there is a feature not listed in any FAQ i found....

when i have a character selected, for example Jam, my
favourite, in-game, when i press down twice and punch
or high slash, above the tension meter appear some signs.
they seem like the go away after hard attacks, but i still
dunno what the do....

please help me out
