Just got me thinking. A CD game is big... but a dvd game would be fucking huge. CDs can hold like, 800Mb, whereas dvds can hold up to 5 gig. Imagine the size of a game that filled a dvd, the graphics etc. Ah, then you'll never leave your ... oh wait, |

There are games on DVD! Most big releases are 2/3 cds now (for PC)- only a matter of time for DVD to become the norm. |

Hey funkmaster, I've played a few muds. I usually play one intensely for a while, then get banned because I can't take most of the fucktards that play those things heheh. Last one I became an imm, but became bored and was banned for gross abuses of my priveleges. |

first one was lands of britagne, like 5-6? years ago. 2nd one was eternal visions a few years back. 3rd one was cities of mdhoria I played each one for roughly a year, but I came to hate them all except lands of britagne, that one was sweet, but it went down, (I didn't get banned from it). |

well more then 5 gigs.... commercially pressed dvds are often 9 gigs, theyre dual layer, its just dvd-+r that is single layer right now at 4.7 gigs. anyway the first of the consumer dual layer burners have just come out. dont know about media though. |
