what dynamism is that? the completely artificial world
created by tv producers that can change at the whim of one
of said producers, peopled by people who are VERY aware they
are on camera?

in other words, Big Brother is only a sociological
representation of human dynamics within the Big Brother
project.

That doesn't change anything - people are always aware of
being watched, it's part of being in a society. Plus, after
a while, it is impossibly to sustain being aware of the
cameras... that's why it gets interesting after the first
couple of weeks.

yes very good point. also, we see what the big brother
producers choose to broadcast; it's all in the edit. they
can spin a particular housemate however they like, to
maximise ratings.

big brother reminds me why i hated parties at uni: you'd
always get a load of boring cunts chatting shit about some
bollocks, convinced they were profoundly original
revolutionary thinkers, and everyone's always too polite to
challenge their crap.

You should follow the lead of Aphex and Cylob at parties.
Purposely defy social conventions in order to get rid of
boredom. You can start by riding elevators and facing the
wall. Baby steps!
