very nice. I like where it goes, esp at about the halfway mark. I think you should at least give it a proper ending! I like the title too, it fits it. I can see some sexy lady walking, and being totally mesmerized by her. |

yeh, i'm about halfway through with it. i'm thinking about toying around with the structure a little too, although i think it's working so far with the original structure intact. btw, for those who don't know the original, it's by Garbage |

You need to work on some original material. What you have done is quite impressive so far, but reatively I think you would acheive more by working on your own stuff. Finish this though because I would be interested to hear the final outcome. |

yeh i know, i'm kinda getting stuck in a rut of churning out covers (which i never really intended to do) i think the whole honkytonk debacle knocked me back a bit too, but i am trying to come up with some totally original stuff. What i'd really like to do is start working with a band, or do some collaborative work with another electronic based artist. I think that it'd help me get a bit more creative. Thanks for the swift kick though :) I really do need to start making some original stuff |

thank you very much :) i'd supply my own vocals, but i really can't sing for shit - i'm hoping that my girlfriend will still do vocals for it though, and i'll get them down as soon as possible, but it looks like i'll be using the built in mic on my PowerBook for them until i can get some time in a studio. She may be able to get the vocals recorded at her college though :) I'm using a 909 kit, some drum samples from misc refills and i'm using the funkydrummer break |

Dirty the tune up a it, and then use low quality distorted vocals over it. I think it could work really well. |

dirty the tune up............which part of the melody? the bass line, piano line, pads, or all of it? heh yeah, i'm thinking of putting some bit cruisher or chopper on the vox....it depends on the vocals...they might be ok clean :) i'm really happy with the growling bassline though |
