I think the easiest way to identify it is when you're really selfless with regard to the other person. As well as putting them on a pedastal you really but their wellbeing happiness before your own. I think my first real indicator that I wasn't in love with the girl I'm currently seeing is that I could have easily spent the money I blew on a new mixer on footing the bill for us in a nice hotel for the weekend (valentines day). I considered it for all of about 20 seconds before thinking about how I wanted the mixer more than to see her. I suppose you could argue I simply love music more than her :P |
