Yes, I heard something about this on the radio -- he is less involved than in his previous films, is he not? I mean, presenting-wise and stuff he's actually filmed? Or did I get the gist of this wrong? Still, I heard it was very good, if a little patchy in places (but then, isn't all of Moore's factual work?)

it shouldn't have won over Wong Kar Wai's '2046' from some reviews i've read, its only because of the political climate it won.
Still looking forward to seeing it though.

Ha, I see, it's the first documentary to win the Palme d'Or since 1957. Or 1956 or something.

Tarantino is a massive Wong Kar Wai fan, they picked Fahrenheit 9/11 because it gives it more publicity and a greater chance of showing in the US before the eletion. They know this film could have a massive impact on the US election, therefore a massive impact on the future of this world.

For real? haha .. damn that's hilarious.
With Arnold in office, people wouldn't have such a bad conscience and tortured reasons for invading other countries ... Maybe that Austrian charisma could charm all the cynicism into submission as well ;)
