just got back...mind im still a little stoned, so this might not be quite understandable...HE WAS EXCELLENT...well, it sounded excellent, and i would really love to see the stuff he played released. the only familiar tune was "my favourite shop", everything else was quite abstract...even noisy at times...similar to fennesz - only less noisy and more glitchy. some beats here and there, but mainly repetitive hypnotic deep bass with some noisy/glitchy melodies. this guy is fantastic!! the most disappointing thing was that only like 50 people showed up, so the place looked very empty...i was complaining about too many people at kraftwerk gig couple of days ago, but this was another extreme...funny how all those "electronic music" fans that attnded the kraftwerk gig, didn't bother coming to jelinek...ah well, at least the ones that were there, had a great time!! |

oh, hehe, and i have about 8 minutes of video (640x480) of the guy that started playing right after jelinek finished :-) see, i wanted to film jelinek but i thought of that while it was already too late :( |
