I bought this on DVD recently, after having bought it on
VHS years ago and seeing it... has anyone else seen it? It's
from 1975 I think, and features Mrs Mangle from
'Neighbours'. Anyway, for fans of films like Walkabout
(fantastic film with great music by John Barry), I think
you'd like this film.

Get the fuck outta here. You've NEVER seen Walkabout?? Holy
shit! Download the soundtrack on SLSK, it's excellent (if a
little short - 35 minutes or something). It's haunting. And,
of course, rent or buy the film! It's frickin' marvellous!

"Picnic" is great.Totally haunting, the scene where the girl
is trying to say to her friends "No,please don't go up
there!" really freaks me out.

Walkabout makes me feel empty. Not in a 'nice' way as such,
but it's not totally negative. I like the film.

Is your avatar from a scene in Book of Shadows: Blair Witch
Project 2?

Walkabout features jenny agutter looking particularly
sexy. It also features some naked black boy, but I wasn't
paying much attention to him -- I think he cops it, like, eh
what? WHAT WHAT?

I remember seeing Logans Run when I was about 10 or
something, with my mum and dad.

somewhere in the beginning she takes her skimpy and already
seethrough dress off.

I think I might inadvertently have invented a new colour of
red in my face, then.

Which one is Logan's Run? Is that a Clint Eastwood film?
It's not, by any chance, the one where he hangs around a
couple of hippies?

no, it's the sci-fi film with Michael Yorke.

the soundtrack by Jerry Goldsmith (a combination of
orchestral stuff with electronics) is very good!
