It is pretty cool. I downloaded it the other day and it hasn't left my winamp playlist. Dunno why there were two mixes though, as they're not that different. Does sound a lot like Windowlicker, I agree. I don't generally listen to much Squarepusher, but I did like Come On My Selector (good vid too) and I like this. I bought Budokan Mindphone and thought the lo-fi jazz noodling was rather shite, to be honest. I do wish he didn't just take a couple of overused loops and cut them up (though he does do it well), and programmed more of his own drums. Chris. |
