bottles better than can.. . and off tap aint so bad
neither.. . but Im trying to quit drinking atm. ..

and I seriously suggest anyone out there who drinks more
than once or twice a week and complains about being fat
gives up drinking straight away. ..

Yep, I like Absolut too. Stoli's good and there is a good
budget brand here too (I can't remember the name but the
bottle design is very distinct- shiny "silver rainbow" type
labelling). I think my favourite commonly available one is
Altai, reasonably expensive (about £18 for a 70cl botle of
40%), but it's worth it. I've had a few killer polish voddys
too, I used to live with a Pole and they put it away like
mad at meals. The stuff he used to have was about £2/3 a
bottle but better tasting than the £15 stuff here. Now
they're in the EU it may be worth doing a trip there to
stock up on a load of it (this guys house had a "wine attic"
that had literally about 200/300 bottles of voddy in it).

One of my pet hates is bars that don't keep it in the
freezer (even some "Vodka Bars" don't do this), and/or serve
it with ice, despite emphasising, "double vodka, straight,
NO ICE" when you order.
