Secret World by PEter Gabriel, the lyric "So I watch you wash your hair" it's beautiful... San Jacinto also by Peter Gabriel, the whole song is beautiful, but especially when the "I hold the line" lyric comes in... Echoes by Pink Floyd, when the song comes out of the strange whale singing part, and reachs it's climax... amazing!!! Cichli by Autechre when the percussion falls away and the melody plays along beautifully... Tewe again by Autechre... just the way it builds subtly, and the whole groove to it... those are just some off the top of my head... |

lets see..i dont remember any actual times...so ill try and describe them.. µ-ziq - hasty boom alert..there are several parts...especially when the strings start building in the background, and the beat stops...and theres that synth sound i cant describe... pretty much all of goodbye goodbye the breakdown on brace yourself jason..then as that little beepy melody starts coming in.. squarepusher - my sound..especially the last half..when it starts building to a climax in the first half of squarepusher theme...where that little melody comes in for only a few seconds.. squarepusher - sarcacid pt 1...that bass solo mmm the beginning of psultan pt 1 flim..the parts where the beat stops...also when the violin kicks in the big orchestral part of 4 where the beat stops..it almost makes your headphones rumble girl/boy song...where the beat stops for a few minutes and its just strings the string part of fingerbib the parts on bjork's vespertine where the choir comes in...also most of aurora and towards the end of all is full of love where she starts singing the chorus the part on xtal where the beat stops and theres that synth solo.. on ae's bike where the main melody and the beat fade out for a few minutes and theres that really weird melodic part most of boc's sixtyniner the hirst half of kid for today.. all of roygbiv the live version of 1986 summer fire the last half of acrid avid jam shred.. all of avril 14th..especially towards the end all of jynweythek nanou2...and nannou all of iz us.. the live version of radiohead's spinning plates i could go on like this..but ill just stop now.. |

The last bit of ziggomatic v17 when the mad drum exits and all there is left is the flowing, airy synth which takes me to the beach in my head. Beautiful epic piece. Rich always puts those into his songs, but makes each time just as beautiful as last time, without seeming dated or old. I love it. |
