my mate has it and loves it. I've got the delta 410 card
(not the firewire) and the only problem i've had is with the
drivers not being available for the latest OS update yet.
Depends what OS you run i suppose.

ask for a review

... "

depends on the intended use and machine i guess. i have a
poberbook w/ osx10.3 and the latest fw410 drivers and have
experienced no problems whatsoever. great stability on low
latencies, (at least for logic) but i probably wouldn't hook
it as a part of a fw device chain. couldn't get it to
receive midi sync with ableton tho (sending worked well),
but never really figured out whether the problem was in the
soundbox or somewhere else. the mixer software is a tad
weird, but once you get into the basic ideology pretty
straightforward to use.
the microfone preamps are&sound quite nice - and overall
there's really no hum or static at all. imho. :) actually
the only thing i have to bitch about is that you have to do
really myriad wakeup rites to get the device back on once
you put your machine on standby mode. i guess this isn't a
problem for non-laptops. many people complain about only 2x
1/4" mono inputs (or 1x stereo if you like, and no, you
can't use them simultaneously with the mic inputs) but that
hasn't been a problem with me since i've been only sampling
vinyl / doing solo recordings of beating dead donkeys' heads
against the wall or scrubbing a 12 feet tall robot pelvis
with a fork. and stuff. so anyway. this definately isn't a
card for people who want to do multitrack recording. tried
the digital i/o for a while with a tc electronic m one -
seemed to work nice enough, after twiddling their parameters
for half an hour. whether one should buy this card, depends
a bit on the price. under 400 euros, it's definately a
catch.

ah neetta, you are a legend. It only has one input? That's a
bit shite, but i can cope. It has plenty of outputs to make
up for it.
