i just discovered this today, by accident..

live music @ archive.org

they have high quality (usually direct from soundboard) live
recordings available in various lossless audio formats.
downloads are fairly quick, and it's all legal/free.

some of my favorites from the list include 'godspeed you
black emperor', and 'explosions in the sky'. both excellent
live bands, imo.

just thought i'd share. if you have anything to recommend
from the list, post it here.
