Me, though it's not the meat of my musical diet, like many
people here.

who is posting here

I have quite a lot of posts, and it is directly proportional
to my Loser Level.

are (were you) you a good student at school? do you have
good marks or not ? problems at school ? studying ?

I took a year off school, might be going back in September,
albeit to a different place, to study different thigns. Most
likely, something computer or technology related. My average
during my last year at UCCB was somewhere in the high
30s/early 40's,, and I skipped roughly 60 per cent of my
classes. I was not a model student, and I have a low chance
of being a Valedictorian.

I post here.

I rarely listen to IDM anymore as it really doesnt have the
magic it once used to. I do often check out artists on this
board though.

I did ok in school at anything i did which wasnt much
because i chose to drink and smoke pot before/during and
after school which resulted me in going to alternative
school which is where i got my shit together. I later went
to go to school for Heating and Air which i passed.

I still drink loads. I quit pot and am seeking an HVAC job

my marks are either 90s or failing, with very little
exceptions. i do well when i'm working, but i (also) tend to
get horrible panic attacks and just lose all ability to
cope.

i can't answer the favorite music question regarding idm,
because there's just too many, but for non-idm music:

modest mouse, built to spill, radiohead, depeche mode,
elliott smith, the smiths. i dunno.

personally, i think you ought've first started a thread
regarding things that people think are worth asking/testing
for. second, you don't get a really honest representation,
because it's typically less appealing for people to confess
they totally suck at school. the poll function would work,
as it provides anonymity.

hm... that's kinda what i thought...

people who listen to idm are mostly good at school, have
good marks.
i think that the few people who told about bad marks are
just lazy - but average inteligent too...

now my question is - why do you listen to idm and the most
important question - how did you get into idm....

also - why people inteligent and better at school listen to
this ?

what do you expect ?... i'm not doing this for school or
anything, just for myself.

i just realised that i have never heard that someone from
worse schools listens to idm...
i don't want to say that idm is listened only by
"inteligent" people... just curious...

much. in highschool I kind of didnt care, but still worked
enough to get decent grades (C's-A's) In college, Im a much
better student, because I care about my studies.

-do you have good marks or not ? problems at school
?studying ?: for the most part. All my classes related to my
major, ive gotten A's in. Actually dont think ive gotten
less then an A for major related classes.... other
classes, As and Bs, except I failed history of western civ 1
this semester. Its because I didnt turn in the 5 required
essays (stupid piece of shit assignment, couldnt be arsed).
But I dont care, I got As in all my other classes. Ive
gotten an award in my major as well.

1: I was good at school for the majority of it.

2: I had really good marks but in final year i kinda didnt
do as well as i could have, i just lost interest in things
and couldnt find motivation etc. I had a few bully problems
at school but nothing serious, and i think every kid has
those. Studying was fine until i lost interest in final year
and it continued into uni. Now if it doesnt interest me I
find it really hard to study or do work for the subject.

3: aphex twin, squarepusher, venetian snares. ( at the
moment )
