The synth making that squelchy tone is a Yamaha CS-80. Arturia has a that's said to be pretty faithful. The thing with Vangelis is, a lot of his stuff, especially the stuff before Blade Runner, is kinda hit and miss. I can appreciate most of the tracks on my Best of Vangelis CD but I have to trick myself into a cheesy mood to do it. |
