cool, alright im a newbie in the realm(ha) of electronic and
i was just wondering 1.)how to remix (or the basics of) and
2.) where can i get samples from magazines, internet, or

i like to listent to the song alot to get a feel for it,and
then i make some samples that sound like the main synth and
shit then customiz it.

unless your asking where you get the samples, i just make
them on fruity loops.

eheheh um...
remixing is an art in itself
theres loads of waies to do a remix
1) sample parts of the song and cut them up (either from
using somethgin liek the ever dodgy microsoft sound recorder
to record parts, or have them email you the samples)
2) rewrite the song entirely, using all your own sounds
(lots of fun and hard work).....this is more liek a cover
though
3) rewrite the song with your own sounds and change bits.

um thats the ways i use anyway.

or you can always do what nuclear heaven allegedly did at
one stage and sample a TINY part of the song and reduce it
to a waveform and use it in your own song and label it a
remix

or do what i did for a laugh and write crap tracks and label
them as remixes of really good songs (did this to cell,
digitonal and pro(xy)....good thing they have good senses of
humours)

find the acapella versions of songs on soulseek of
whatever.
but that usually only works on songs with vocals.
