ok fine you're used to it now, but the first time you heard
it, didn't it piss you off when the beat came in? I remember
thinking it ruined the song, and it still bothers me.

No, no. It's the best track on Classics I think.

no damn you I'm not asking if the track is good or
not--I'm asking about that fucking pounding that comes in!

The beat is pretty expected. I'm not a huge fan of this old
dance aphex "shtuff".

pity - i've been working here for only 1.5 months:(
My
employer doesn't know who RDJ is so he wouldn't care for
that terrible mistake i did.

The pounding makes the song ;P

screw you, it's too loud and flabby for the sound of the
track. It's only predictable because that kind of music
_always_ has it, not because it fits with the sounds that
came before, and that's what I mean.

no, it's perfect. shut up. it's the most predictable
breakbeat ever, but it works.

It's absolutely amazing...the track wouldn't be the same
without that beat (wouldn't make me feel the same way I
mean), it's one of my favourite ever Aphex tracks and it
would be hard to improve on it in any way :)

It definetly is the best track on "Classics", i actually
dislike most of the other songs..

it's perfect as it is. the beat is very good and fits to the
sound.

I wasn't that into classics when I got it but it's
definately a grower, I like the harsh / smooth feel of it,
and it's nicely lo-fi and analoguey. Keyfumbler is a lucky
get this is definately moody lost it beach party music,
trippin in the strobe all night til the sun comes up and you
remember you are a human being, kind of thing. (er yeah,
hmmm...)

Slightly, it pissed me off slightly... but now I like it as
it sounds. Polynomial-C is 'mushroom anthem', it's great!!!

is one of his best songs. classics sucks bad though, it's
the only good song.

ok, maybe it isn't the only good song but it sucks
nevertheless. analogue bubblebath is good. can't remember
other titles atm.

i understand your point - like the first time i listened to
classics i wasnt that impressed, so for polynomial to have
this arbituary beat start i was thinkin - here we go again.
but its key to the track in retrospect - 2.51 in i think u
get something pulling your head in 3 different directions
:)
