those movies are kind of annoying to me because they made tolkien such an "in" thing.. i mean, now everyone can appreciate the great story to some extent, but that just means they'll sit on their ass for a few hours.. and now, as i type this, some kid out there is starting to read "the fellowship of the ring" for the first time and is completely visualising frodo as elijah wood.. instead of using his/her fuckin' imagination.. what a story-ruiner! |

I didn't see the 3rd one. I'm sure I will get a big old shit sandwich from some people here for saying this, but, the lotr series really doesnt interest me all that much. I'm not quite sure why, but the story just never grabbed my attention. =| |

At the time when I saw the movies it was kind of cool because I had read the books as a kid. But now that I think of it, it was just eye candy and, meh, wasn't too great. Oh well, it's probably the best you could have done with such a long and detailed story. |

well atleast you didnt fuck it up... im so tired and high that I for a split second thought that by me posting again. I could somehow raise your points by 1. unfortunately that split second happened to be the same second I also clicked the Reply button. I got 4 hours of sleep last night and worked 8 hours, just got off at 2.. I'm really not myself right now. |
