i'd be tempted to say Fennesz - Rivers Of Sand at the
moment...

I'd have to agree with you, absolutely.

Also, Alberto Balsalm is my favorite Aphex Twin song.

Rivers of sand is good but i like Circassian and The Point
of it all just as much.

i think my favourite on Venice is still City of Light... but
my favourite Fennesz track is still either Surf or
Codeine... both are beautiful as fuck

its the glitch in rivers of sand that gets me, the one that
first comes in at 0:08 until 0:16... awesome

i also really do like the david sylvian track... gotta love
the way the specks of dusty distortion demand attention at
the front of the mix...

for sure... i def. like it more than endless summer... like
i said, my two favourite solo tracks of his are both on
Field Recordings, but Venice is his best work to date... of
course if you include collaborations then it's a whole other
story... the Return of Fenno'Berg is pretty damn nice...

I think Puccini's O Mio Babbino Caro and also the theme to
Chico and The Man and Elton John's Candle In The Wind, I
think the revised version for Princess Di might be better
too.

yes, [lichen] is my favorite aphex twin song ever.

it is supreme bliss.....

i dunno... lichen isn't even among my favourite songs on
that album... i'm personally all about Tree... but there are
so many good songs on that album... so many beautiful
songs... and everyone seems to be attached to different
ones, which is very interesting and cool imo.

i think a good idea for a xlt poll would be: what is your
favourite saw 2 track?
would they have any difficulties making that many options?

Lichen, huh?

Awesome, that. Although I think Blue cals is possibly the
greatest song evarzzors.

this is exactly what i'm talking about!
a lot of people have a very deep attachment to parts of this
album, but everyone has a different favourite... it's so
great

I prefer Endless Summer to Venice (better melodies, better
glitchs, more imaginative imo). And don't blame me but...
I've never heard SAW2 yet.

but there are tens more.
