I have both and I'd say the ratio is something like 99% to 1% (I'm not exaggerating) desktop to laptop. But then, my laptop is a mac, and I only use it for supercollider :P |

Also, I've always had a thing for notebook systems ;) |

I have a desktop, and I'll always have a desktop, unless someone gives me a laptop. From my perch here, anything in the world is just a button press or a keystroke away. I just don't move around enough to warrant having something so portable. Remember the laptop guns from Perfect Dark? Fucking cheap. |

Ha ha, after finally using one of those 17" G4 Powerbooks I've lusted after for the best part of the year, they're nothing special. Panther is a joke and is far less reliable than XP. |
