Only joking...don't you think Richard Devine is one of the
most grossly underrated electronic music people of the
modern day. His music is brilliant and yet he never gets
mentioned.

I mention him, now and then.

a lot of the more Schematic-like artists don't get a lot of
attention, sadly.

I know! I was just thinking the same thing.

I'm not on slsk much these days.

I'm okay. summer's starting and I don't like heat, so
basically - I'm fucked.

how are you doing, Lee?

I'm fine thanks. I've not been on slsk much myself. I am
due to start a new job next week so it looks like most of my
summer will be gone with that :(

What was that live thing you did the other week?

im not going to say that im a fan, but ive always given him
the time of day coz he is technically brilliant... theres a
couple of instances where he has just completely blown my
mind (Lens, Align) but unfortunatly a lot of the time it
just doesnt really do it for me...
on the schematic front, im a mad phoenecia fan, they are
just incredible.

He is not underrated. Many people voted for him.

What are you on about "voted for him"?

I mean in terms of people actually discussing his music and
junk...most people just stick to aphex, ae or snores with
the occassional mention of pommeshovers stuff

richard devine's beat driven monotonic drabble mixes well
with stephan mathieu's overly melancholy singletonedness.
they go well without eachother as well :(

The Divine Devine. Love him. I agree, he's a bit underrated.
Asect Dsect really knocked me out, it ousted Lipswitch as my
favorite by him. I usually don't care too much for technical
workouts, but he can frazzle my brain.
