not really. low is sort of second rate ambient. alec empire pretty much repeats himself over and over. first he was generic hardcore techno beat guy. then, he discovered drum and bass and a few ideas, and made it over the top. then he did Atari teenage Riot, which tries to make a career by putting a bullshit punk rock angle on the generic techno with now occasional drum and bass and punk guitar samples. you know, there are a lot of resources on the net to find out about most any artist you have ever heard of..................... |

not really any good.. If you like alec empire you should check out venitian snares, and some squarepusher, one minute silence... :) what does people think of "les etoilles des filles mortes"? i think its pretty good. |
