Mine is "K2: The Savage Mountain", the classic Houston &
Bates account of their team's tragic ascent attempt of 1953.
A great book about the general history of K2 attempts (in
modern times) is Jim Curran's "K2: Triumph and Tragedy",
which features plenty of interesting accounts dating from
its modern "discovery" by Westerners.

IT would have to be "K2: Fuck am I climbing that" by me.

The Amazon review sums it up perfectly: "A wonderful read
from cover to cover - the way Mr. Scouser managed to
describe his non-climb in breathtaking detail left me with a
hard0n lasting three days. 10/10!! doris littlejohn,

haha, did they mention the money I blagged of the social and
various charities to support my climb.

I said it was for the starving children of the world.

Ahh, as long as you didn't promise to feed the
starving children of the world, then they can't touch you!

Yes, it's my ambition to at least get to the Karakoram range
some day, and stand before its grandeur. Vertical
Limit
really captured it... honest.

that's great marlowe!
i was trying to see if a comic i know was translated in
english but cant seem to find anything. it's by a guy called
"taniguchi" and it's all about the mountains and stuff and
solitude. i feel this comic was really made for those who
love the mountains who are in awe of it's power beauty
etc...
so i thought you might like it but cant find anything.
