i finished a new noisey-noise-music track called digitised antistrophe if anyone is interested.
it is the second in a series of tracks made by combining two pieces that were composed entirely separately.
it's a little sporadic and all over the place, but that was my intention with creating a track in this manner.
if anyone would give me any constructive criticism, other than "that sounds weird/bad" it'd be greatly appreciated.
..not that i'm really expecting anyone to listen, but if you do, thank you in advance.

I´m just letting you know I listened to it. I can't tell whether it's genius or just plain ghastly. It will take 8 years for it to sink in enough for me to appreciate it fully. I'll get back to you.

heh. well, either way, thanks much for listening. mr. belch.
anyone else care to take a listen? even if it's only out of morbid curiosity?
A neat, unrelated tidbit: i use the exact same shitty computer to compose my music as that hard-rockin' Oddioblender chap..

yes yes. they most definitely wouldn't like a rude awakening consisting of my horrendous sound-gonkulations..
btw, this track is a reworking of that "scores of aluminium furniture" track i posted earlier.. err, actually it's an exercise in my experiment that similarly-length pieces of music can fit together perfectly even if written seperately..
eep.

whoa this reminds me of like a really noisey version of a sonig-type aesthetic (a la Niobe, or FX Randomiz or something...)
i really like the way a lot of your acoustic samples have lots of space to breath... you know express a degree of spatiality from within which they are occuring...
once again you are impressive dude... thanks for sharing :)

yes i saw you post. thanks much for the feedback. i've decided to let that thread die since wire fm doesn't want to work ever again..
thanks for the interesting comments.. i will someday have to check out all these artists you compare my stuff to.. since i don't buy many cds currently, (don't have a credit card/money and record stores don't cary shit) i just mainly listen to the same stupid warp records artists that everyone keeps talking about, maybe too much.. but it'd be nice to discover some new stuff like what i enjoy creating, once i get the chance..
thanks again.

hmm.. i guess this will be the last time i bump this. jeez. i must be doing something really sonically (f)ugly if even the "idm fans" don't like this.. or maybe no one besides deadeight has actually listened.
i admit it's a bit off-the-wall.. and it's not suposed to sound "good" ... in really any sense of the word.. but i figured someone here would maybe enjoy this kind of thing. maybe not..
maybe,.,. "uhmm...." bump..

okay, i promised i would no longer "bump" this thread.. (in my mind that means bumping it back to page one.. so since this is still on page one, what i am doing is technically okay) but i think it would be funny if one day i become a signed musician of some kind.. (i'm not saying it will be because of this aural-crud i am trying to force-feed people.. i do have a number of other projects i haven't mentioned on this board before) it would be extremely funny to look back at these threads, most of which are just me talking to myself.. i'd bet if that hypothetical record label were to see all this shit they'd drop me on the spot just because they wouldn't want to be associated with someone so pathetically desperate and stupid-lookin'
damn.. why do i always need to look at the glass as being HALF FULL?
it's so freakin' full it's brimming, overflowing onto the floors of this narrow corridor of xltronic..

You are bumping the track exactly at the hours when the participation here is minimal. Anyway I'm downloading. Damnit I'm gonna be late for school again.

Ok for one I wouldn't exactly call that noise. It has got noisy elements but my definition of noise is ....well walls.... of..................noise. Constant pulsating noise. Another thing is that there are some rhythmical structures here and there which is cool, but I don't know exactly how they fit in. I have to give it more time perhaps. I agree about the accoustic parts, they are weird. Did you play them or sample them from another source?

it could be called noise in that noise is the default category for all music that 99.99% of the people would question whether or not it could be considered music at all...

ah shit. wow. i thought this would actually die for sure. sorry for seeming so guilt-trippy in my stupid rambles. i actually just like to write stupid ass messages like that..for some reason.. i guess because it's my place in the "order" of things here.. maybe.. since i don't know all that much about music/artists and such.. i'll just post something kinda random or at least a bit amusing in a pathetic type of way.. if i can make someone smile and feel a bit better about themselves in comparison to me, then my job is done. but i really want to steer clear from the whole "attention whore" type of thing.. where one annoyingly tries to play on people's emotions/sympathies..
but anyway. deadeight: you really don't need to bump this, but if you do (or tell anyone else about this who'd be interested): Thank you. i really should send you a cd or two in the future, maybe, if you are interested. you seem to be the biggest fan of my crappy "new style."
doomed puppy: first of all, Thank you very much for giving this a listen.
i know it's not really "noise" like Merzbow or something like that.. but i really don't know how describe in a way that won't be disappointing to most people who aren't really open to noise, even in moderation. also, i played all the acoustic guitar parts myself on my mother's trusty Martin 0-16ny 260595, and then further cut/manipulated the recordings in a wave editor..
again, thanks much for taking an interest.. i think the songs do grow on you the more you listen.. they are kind of an expression of randomness.. keep in mind, i wrote two parts, each entirely separately, then later mixed the files at about a 3 to 1 ratio. it's an acquired taste, like the haphazard nature of life.. things will go together that weren't necessarily designed to go together.. that's all the explanation i could ever really give you.
sorry for the long-windedness of my ramblings.. but at least i still didn't technically "
