I don't mean to play devil's advocate, but computer jobs for instance can pay well for young people--I support myself in manhattan in an apartment not as expensive as that one but rather high anyway. |

how can you judge how much rent he should be paying? have you seen his house or apartment? there are plenty of properties with that kind of rent. just because you live in a 30 year old monza caravan doesnt mean everyone wants to live in squalour |

its easy to judge when you know how. I just did a brief online scan of rental prices in canterbury. I cant find anything above £700, and thats for a huge feckin house. |

thats because i never said it was per month :P its termly i pay 60 quid a week but i pay it in bulk over terms. but just to note tehre are properties in canterbury that cost more than 700 a month for instance the lighthouse is 1000 a month |
