it needs more fluid, try some eye drops. or if its an alergie you'll need some hay fever tablets. you could try washing water thru it aswell. |

i was thinking last night about how safety goggles are supposed to keep things out of your eyes but they still have holes in them. that's not very safe would you jump out a plane if your parachute had a bunch of holes in it? |

i used to get conjonctivitus a lot as a kid. used to wake up with a massive eye i could'nt open. eugh the puss would just stick my eyelids together and i would scare the girls at school. haha@ tolstoyed |

i did that a few nights ago... it's awful! unless your drinking vodka and you just fall asleep with no music on and it's completely dark... then it's kind a peaceful in a sad way. |

Usually only conjunctivitis if it has gooey sticky discharge too and usually in both eyes. DO NOT WASH WATER THROUGH IT! there's bacteria in water which can make you go blind. Also don't lick your finger and rub your eye with it to try and make it more moist. Because bacteria in your spit can make you blind too. Maybe you haven't got enough liquid in it so drink a lot of water, get some sleep and eyedrops and hayfever tablets just in case. Good luckx |

I've been out in the rain so many times (not to mention the swimming pool) and still I can see pretty clearly. Also on many dangerous products is says if it gets in contact with your eyes you should immediately apply water. "Because bacteria in your spit can make you blind too." Hm... my mother wears contacts, and whenever they get dirty she cleans them with spit too. I know (and told her a 1000 times :-P) it's not a healthy habit. But she keeps doing it anyway. I doubt it can make you go blind though! Eyes are not that fragile. Maybe it could just get a little irritated. |

My mum's an optician and i work in an opticians. Honestly, bacteria in tap water and spit can make you blind. That's why they tell you to wash your contact lenses in solution not in spit or water. They say wash stuff out with water because it's better than having bleach or shampoo in your eyeballs. But there is always a chance. Just get some eyedrops, there's no risk then. |
