so i heard this is where you should get your stuff from dvd's, programs, mp3's maybe does it beat the 5k average downloadspeed from soulseek, edonkey? |

no, because you're obviously on a slow connection. soulseek works much faster than 5k you know. |

edonkey is great, just run it in the background. you get decent rips from there, but for music id use slsk. |

no, i do 50k all those uploaders dont though it's so crap downloading 0.1 or so from edonkey, having to sleep trough my computer noise |

i do that but it be better d/l 50k, and i understood that's what you can do from newsgroups, that's what the guy did for his dvd, he said he could download three dvd's a day, that's 12 gig or something a day |
