I really want to watch/own the Cowboy Bebop Anime Series But Animenation only sell NSTC. The DVDs are all Region 1 and I live in the UK. (Region 2). I might be getting a PS2 soon, will the PS2 play Region 1 DVDs? This is the only way I will ever be able to watch Cowboy Bebop. :( |

Thats why I'm on here ALL THE TIME! If I ever post at home, my location says "UK Plains Of Noise"... Not much of that going on around here is there? I stare at PDFs all day. its sick and wrong and they might as well slap my calf muscles while I work |

if u modify the PS2 u will be abel to play region 1 dvd's in the PS2..... but it seams too be pretty hard too find this chips... buy a standalone dvdplayer instead.... |

Excusemoise, but you dont need a mod chip to play regional DVD's. all you need is the "recalled" DVD driver memory card save from the original Japanese PS2's. it lets you play DVD's from all regions. If you have an import game shop in your area they'll probably do it for you for like 5 dollars or pounds or whatever. look on the internet too. try ncsx.com maybe you can send them your memory card for an upgrade. |

that memorycardshit doesn't work fully.. better to chip the ps2.... so u get true RGB and and skip shit whit bootdisks and such.. |
