There are better quality copies available. I personally think it is real. Quite interesting to watch. I knew as soon as they started to cut that they were going to have trouble getting through the spine, it would have been better to use the traditional slide the knife up the back of the victim which makes them tense up and the chop the head off cleanly with a sharp knife and a clean blow. The whole thing was executed in a bit of an amature fashion. Which makes me think it isn't a professional Al-Queda operative. This man will be hailed as a martyr now. He isn't, he is the victim of a unjust war against an unbeatable enemy who will continually show they are willing to go to further extremes than our troops are publically allowed to do (although I do think brutal revenge attacks will take place against Iraqis in captivity). Bush has this mans blood on his hands. |

if it hadnt been that kid it would have been someone else. this act was their (iraqis?) answer to the way the the us treated their prisoners (iraqi or 911) - or appeared to treat their prisoners. but that last bit doesnt matter: if the pics were fake or real, this chopped head was at least as real as those pics. the fact that the us got this kind of answer to those pictures shows how pointless their presence in iraq is. every shitty bit of news (real or not real) about us screwing things up with respect to the islam will be paid back in tenfold. |
