Has anyone heard this EP yet? I haven't but I'm quite
curious about it,
I saw that Pitchfork gives it a 4.0!
What's up with that? Is it really that bad?

(I hereby decide that tolstoyed isn't allowed to post in
this thread :P)

It's just a b-sides collection isn't it? And a live-version
of 2+2=5 if I'm not mistaken. But no new songs :-(

Still if I see it, I'll probably buy it anyway :-p If only
for the artwork.

By the way morton, did you happen to notice that
one of my threads finally went over 100 replies this weekend! I
guess you're not the only one of us who knows how to make
100+ threads anymore. ;-)

haha i hadn't noticed that! congratulations mate! :D
i don't know how to do it anymore though, you must've stolen
the power from me :P

(btw of course i refuse to post in the other thread since it
mustnt get out of hand ( 200+ etc.) ;) remember how in the
past we would reply to eachother in different threads, just
to keep eachothers threads from going over 100 posts)

I have the b-sides... they are worth getting if you don't
already have them. Where Bluebirds Fly is verrrry good as is
Fog and some others I can't remember.

Bought it yesterday. And it's a very good listen! I already
had three of the HTTT-singles... but I hardly ever listen to
singles. I can imagine myself listening to this compilation
alot more. Right now I can't get enough of it :-)

Highlights:

Remyxomatosis. A really fun remix. I like how it gets more
and more fucked up towards the end of the song and the
vocals get chopped up etc.

I Will (Los Angeles Version). I like this version better
than the one on HTTT. Altough that one is really good as
well... this one sounds more pleasant and melodic.

Gagging Order. Just a beautiful acoustic Radiohead-song like
they used to make 'em. Reminds me a little of the softer
songs on The Bends.

Fog (Again) (live). Now this just left me speechless the
first time I heard it. Stripped from all the experimentation
and weird effects... this is just the pure song and it is
breathtaking :-o It's much too short but guaranteed to give
goosebumps to any radiohead-fan.

Where Bluebirds Fly. One of their better experiments in
electronica imo. Nice haunting melody and very nervous
rhythms.

The artwork looks even better than on the pictures I saw
online! Donwood & Dr. Tchock are amazing. They should make a
nice big and long book sometime! Away from the limited
format of cd-packaging I bet they could do even more amazing
things.

I like the picture of the grim reaper... "Hi there. I had
a window in my schedule, so I thought I'd pop by a few years
early. Is that okay with you? Let's hope so.
". And then
he stands against a background of factories and
powerlines... I can't even really tell why, but it seems
like such a strong image to me.

"i don't know how to do it anymore though, you must've
stolen the power from me :P
"

Haha, no I think this was a once in a lifetime thing for me.
I don't even start alot of threads to begin with. But still
it was nice to experience going over 100 atleast one time
:-p

"remember how in the past we would reply to eachother in
different threads, just to keep eachothers threads from
going over 100 posts
"

Hehe :-p
I bet that annoyed the hell out of everybody else. Having a
discussion spread out over 2 threads... ah crazy times...
Still we had lots of fun here back in those days. And
ofcourse you know I wouldn't be posting in here if this
wasn't such a small thread ;-)

Dannn is right, it's the Four Tet mix has the glitch.

Apparently the Four Tet remix is available as a b-side on
one of the singles without the glitches.
