We've had this review up @ Igloo
for quite a while, now's a good time
to plug it, again.. :)

"...while edIT's namesake technical
proficiency is on par with leading producers
in a multitude of genres, what makes this
debut so impressive are his melodically
simple yet emotionally complex themes..."

I was just listening to some samples of this over at the MU
website. It exemplifies everything that's wrong with
electronic music.

It's more simple sad melodies with stuttering drilly shit.
Like we need more of that. It's a more polished version of
the stuff that gets posted here.

It's like when everyone got a copy of 3d software and the
interweb exploded with giant chrome people in various cheesy
landscapes. And some of it was technically brilliant, and
obviously took ages to accomplish and demonstrated great
skill, and it still sucked.

It all depends on how you digest
the music as a whole. Listening
to the "teaser" samples on the Mu
site doesn't give this release justice.
I don't think you can accurately
state an opinion on a particular
release if you haven't digested
the whole piece. Make sense?
