people can claim anything, but there hasn't been any
successful clones yet (any species) of what I know.

I was under the impression that they have cloned rats and
some sheep and what not.... and they worked out fine?

Dolly the sheep, the first cloned animal developed
arthritis, but there was no evidence to say this was the
direct cause of cloning as it is pretty common in sheep.

Cat's have also been cloned but they display different
personalities, colouring etc. still not really a failure.

I cloned a monkey.

Clones aren't succesful, and I will never eat
cloned/genetically modified food.
It's raw, natural, living food for me (obviously ;)

At first the fuckers at FDA said it was ok to eat cloned
food (e.g. milk/meat from cloned animals), and if that would
be correct; then sure there wouldn't be any problems with
cloned animals (because FDA is always correct, right?).
But even FDA decided to take back what they said (after
being critized by scientists of course).
If there are no problems with clones; if the clones are just
as natural and healthy as naturally born animals; then why
can't they even be eaten?

I'm not saying I would knowingly eat food from cloned
animals but just because you disagree with it doesn't mean
that every clone so far has failed. It is too soon to see
what the long term effects are of allowing cloned food into
the food chain, especially until there are proper measures
in place to ensure that all cloning is done to a specific
standard.

... or just stop the useless cloning?

People are wasting resources and life on this for no
reason!
If people want to be healthy they shouldn't try to find a
cure to stop their disease; they should stop being unhealthy
so they won't get any diseases.

GM foods do cause e.g. cancer.
Let's spend money instead on giving starving people some
real, natural, food.

How can you just come out with the unfounded statement that
GM food causes cancer? hahaha

Cloning could lead to cures as it is giving us a much better
understanding of the human genome in general. It is an
interesting area which should be investigated. I share your
sceptacism over whether the use of cloned food is required
though.

I do think cloning is useless - there is no need to know
more about the body - instead humans should try to find out
how to care more.

wtf? there are loads of articles on GM:

I just googled it, and here's one (though I haven't read
it): http://www.sundayherald.com/29821

I dont eat modified food either... all natural for me....
its not good for you..

Key iam agreeing with you - im just saying there have been
tons of clones of rats and sheep and various other animals..
and supposedly now humans.... i can easily believe it. who
knows how good they turn out, but they can clone them.

GM food can lead to cancer problems and other ailments,
because the nutrients and essential oils in fruits and
vegetables and eggs and meat cannot be fakely made properly
and dont give your brain the food it needs to be healthy,
therefore your body follows

what is really sad is that western medicine is so shitty and
so many people try to protect it or defend it. digestive
systems and the brain are the key to all health pretty much.

i'm with ecnadniarb, there are obvious advantages to
understanding how our bodies work. Cloning could have lots
of benefits, such as cloning of organs for organ
transplants. Do not completely disregard a whole branch of
science as useless when its only in its' early stages.

just for the fact that people are starving in the world
countries could put some money onto helping them today -
instead of helping them and their unhealthy lifestyle in
whenever the research is done. Research is far from free.

I dont say it because im qualified, in what way are you
qualified to believe in what you do??

besides, read some books about it, there are plenty.
as well ..... it makes sense. There is PLENTY of evidence to
prove that digestive systems and nutrition are the keys to
health.

Fucking hell mate, you are some sort of genius. You mean
that through the reading of literature you have managed to
ascertian that you have to eat to be healthy. Damn, you
should be a doctor or a scientist or some shit like that.

I dont say it because im qualified, in what way are you
qualified to believe in what you do??

You don't have to be qualified to have an opinion, but you
should really be qualified to make comments like:

GM food can lead to cancer problems and other ailments,
because the nutrients and essential oils in fruits and
vegetables and eggs and meat cannot be fakely made properly
and dont give your brain the food it needs to be healthy
