he's been spotted several times in India, specifically Goa. he'd grown his hair long. there are several photos kicking about to support this. the theory is that he was fed up of the stress he was going through with the touring etc, and decided to fake his own disappearance to pay out insurance to his parents, and start a new life. a similar but more audacious plot has been achieved by 2Pac Shakur, who faked his own death after his hero Machiavelli (Tupac had Machiavelli's name tattooed across his own back), and has subsequently amassed a huge fortune in royalties and insurance payments in the aftermath of his 'death'. he operates from an unknown location thought to be still within the United States. conspiracy theorists have suggested that 2pac's alleged 'killer' The Notorious B.I.G. aka Biggy Smalls was in on the whole plot and in fact did a similar thing soon after, faking his own death in another spectacularly theatrical gang-killing style. both men have made millions in posthumous record sales. |
