I used to live in Braintree in 1998. 'Flacks' (or is it 'flax'?) is the shitest after hours excuse for a brawl I've ever seen. Bet i know people you know.... but then most of them are around 20 years old or so, so maybe not. Overall, I have to say i don't really miss the place much.. |

Flacks is no more; the only proper bohemian hangout left in Btree....my childhood playground has been turned into a Chrome plated theme pub...:( Yep, I probably know you from 98 etc...I was a more or less daily regular there so I guess you'd probably recognise me.... |

yo Murray.... used to go to a great little ad-hoc club in Southend: called FUNNYSKINS...dunno if it's still going, they used to have "private" parties at the Football club but that was a good 5 yrs back.... Ahh Essex, True Home of the HARDCORE (the music...)... |

its a small world - i lived in b'tree fer years and was at one time near "the barn" before it was knocked down for poxey houses - twas the meeting place of keith flint and liam howlett - i heard flacks was a bit on the rough side but i never went.... anyone remember the " mindwarp" raves in colchester? |
