 | People were hating on me for dissing Cylob a while back.
I just D/Led Mood Bells. I tried to keep an open mind, but
this whole think is pretty laughable. I really hope he was
making fun of new age music or something like that, cause
this really doesn't do anything. I mean, he could have just
accomplished the same shit by LAYERING (thats right... lazy
sloppy musicianship isn't always ear catching) different
melodies overtop of one another instead of just having the
 occasional gong hit and such.

What did anyone else think. I really would like to know.

 | I also listened to it couple of times.
i think its not so good. But hes a cool guy, i mailed him
once with this dumbfuck question about what kind of
equipment he used, and he replied with some nice asci art,
and a polite little answer, about him not using any other
equipment than any other people :) His older shit is great,
but mood bells is not for everyone (for anyone?)

 | K, I've disliked Cylob for a long time (his music that is) and never found anything worth listening to from him.
Recently however, I listened to an mp3 and thought that it
was really lush, but I can't for the life of me figure out
which track I was listening to (I may have been high). Can
anyone recomend his best release to me? I'd like to give
him another chance with the proper album.

 | If this was jazz then I spent the evening being fucked by the entire cast of riverdance while building lego robots
 with a monkey named stu.

There was nothing unique about mood bells, half of the notes
were off (I doubt that was intentional), and he made an
entire album out of an idea that Dj Spooky used in a filler
track (and it wasn't even a very good bit of filler).

I don't know. I feel sorry for cylob. I really do. I tried
hard to like this album. To find something redeeming about
it. But its just not very good.
