Top stuff, I've always had a "quiet respect" for your stuff. I've not heard anything that has made me go, "Oh woah, this is awesome!" before, but all your stuff I've heard has been consistantly good. This is fantastic though. I award you the 'best use of "Wave Traveller" (I'm assuming that's how the scratches were done?) ever, IMO' award. |

Whoa some very kind words, thanks people - this here, these messages is the WHY behind making music, and a lot of the reason why I'm happy with keeping it in mp3s - the whole contact thing, having people tell me what they think (especially if their thoughts are positive it sounds stupid I know but I can't help it) DJ Xammax - Thanks a lot (ha your name keeps reminding me of Sam n Max the rabbit and the dog cops in that game) I do have a day job yeah I do shitty IT - I build PCs in a big building for public servants who insult me and break their computers and generally treat us liek shit - it's good because if I had my ego rubbed daily i'd get even more self absorbed than i already kind of am. So it's nice to have a shit job to kind of contrast. And fall back on. I get bugger all (~23 grand a year australian) but it's consistent and I get a lot of net time :) It took like ... about 4 months of fairly solid writing to get these tracks out though, I spend a lot of time on programing detail :\ I hope it paid off. goDel - That track was written about my ex, who went to england for 8 months. I waited for her, she got addicted to coke and fucked other men and came back and treated me like dirt. In the end it was her friends who convinced me to dump her. I'm still not over her, never have loved anyone so much, so it was kind of a track I really had to write. It's a big "Fuck you" to her in a way. Ceri - Yeah I know i've been very sort of on and off (mostly off, admittedly) my game for... pretty much forever. I think I'm starting to settle into some areas I'm comfortable with and I'm really working hard on getting my production down a lot better too so yeah. And yeah the wave traveller is how I did all those scratches, there are a few methods of using it that I worked out, it can get a bit frustrating to use but it's usually worth it.
